GET THE FACTS ABOUT THE NICHOLS BROTHERS MASTER PERMIT APPLICATION
Island County has issued a legal notice declaring that they expect to issue a Determination of [environmental] Non-Significance (DNS) for Nichols' 15 year expansion "master plan." This means that unless the community speaks out the crucial step of conducting an Environmental Impact Statement will be bypassed. The following is a brief summary of some key facts contained in the Master Permit Application that NBBBI has filed with the county.
